Mike - Owner, lead guide
Company founder and president, Mike's passion for the outdoors was forged on the lakes and rivers of Ontario. After spending a summer in BC after university, the call of the mountains was too great to ignore and he packed up a rusty old Volvo and headed West. A love of mountain biking and meeting people from around the world inspired Sacred Rides, and 11 years later, he takes pride in a small homegrown company made good. |

Valerie Lessard - assistant guide, BC
"I love mountain biking because it gives me a sence of freedom and awakens my inner child. I started mountain biking in the summer of 2004 in Fernie, B.C. The following 2 seasons were a blast on my Stinky, discovering Nelson, Rossland, Whistler, Vernon and Kamloops. Who would have thought that riding up hill is fun too? I admit it, breathing and sweating every hill coming ahead is part of my game now. To get these exciting sensations of exhaustion I recommend the Cox hill trail in Kananaskis country, Alberta. Cheers to biking! " - Val |
